My reasons are that I have to get down many pills daily
There are many choices of water, but what kind of water meets my special needs? My choice is to use water that has been distilled. These are my reasons.
I must take many capsules daily. When I say a lot, I mean almost 50 pills daily. Clearly, this is a big number. I have to make sure that I take all these pills a few at a time without getting sick.
For example, I have gotten osteoporosis and have needed to swallow calcium capsules each day
Because of the drugs I have been required to use, side-effects have occurred. I have to get down more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. One situation is that I have osteoporosis and have had to get down calcium capsules daily.The cause was all of the Prednisone, because of pretty severe Crohns disease. As a result, I am required to swallow two additional calcium osteoporosis pills to counter this bone calcium problem. This is one reason why I am required to swallow so many pills each day. While doing this, I often find it very hard because of the chemical smell of the water we get in our house.
I’m not sure why, but my county seems to have water with lots of chlorine. I can taste it easily. The water company sends quality notices that indicate the local water has chemicals added for many reasons. These chemicals worry me.
I mean, naturally, there are chemicals in our water, because the water comes from natural places. However, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water company covers a large area, and they have to make sure that the water is potable. Check out the information that get delivered in the water bill envelope, because you can learn a lot. I almost don’t want to know, but I would rather know what is in the water.
With distilled water, I can get down all my drugs and supplements
One time a friend arrived for a holiday and we had a discussion about chemicals added to the water. He is on the road quite a bit, and he told me that he always carries distilled and purified water. Why, I asked? He told me that it’s the only water he can be sure of. Plus, you can purchase distilled water in any market.
I had never thought of that. In the past, I had just used distilled water for ironing. After learning about his use of distilled water, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of intestinal problems, I now have to swallow quite a few more pills. To deal with the nutritional side effects of Crohn’s Disease, I also must take supplements, including multivitamins and some extra vitamins along with a calcium pyruvate 4000 supplement that are medically prescribed.
Because of Crohn’s Disease, I’m very affected by odors that cause me to get sick. So, I’ve decided to drink only distilled water, because I must always swallow all my drugs and vitamins each day.
